E-Clip Instruction Sheet Repalcement 5/8 E-Clip Kit This E-Clip is found in late-model, Allison series 1000-equipped GM trucks. The E-Clip is used to join the transmission cooler line to the quick connect radiator fitting in these vehicles. If, for any reason, you are required to remove the E-Clip for maintenance or repair, always replace it with a new E-Clip upon service completion never reuse the E-Clip.
